Thanh Canh

Thanh Canh is a multi-talented artist, not only in fine arts but also in fashion design. He’s presently a lecturer at Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, where he graduated as top student in 2009.

Thanh Canh participated in numerous group exhibitions organized in Hanoi, Vietnam, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia. In addition, he also had solo exhibitions in his homeland of Vietnam in 2009 and 2011.

Thanh Canh’s talent earned him much commendation. He was the recipient of the Young Artist Prize Award presented by The Fine Arts Association of Ho Chi Minh City (2005 and 2010) , People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Award (2006) , Young Excellent Artists Award granted by Melbourne City of Australia (2007) , First Prize in Landscape Painting and Drawing at Festival Van Lang, Vietnam (2007) and the January Star Award, Vietnam (2006, 2007 and 2008).
