Lim Khim Katy

Lim Khim Katy is a child of Cambodian-father and a Vietnamese-mother. Born in 1978, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Katy receives formal training from Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts University and graduated in 2001. She received many accolades & merits from a variety of associations, and became is a member of the Fine Arts Association of Ho Chi Minh City in 2005. Her first international solo exhibition was held in 2006.

Remaining true to her distinctive style, using only painting knives and limited color palette, Lim Khim Katy conveys strong emotions that are deeper than what the eyes can see on the canvas whether the painting is of the scene of nostalgic village homes or a landscape. Her paintings are in private collections in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.

2005
