She studied art at the San Francisco Art Institute, Parson’s School of Design and l’Ecole des Arts in Lacoste, France. She also studied under instructors trained at the Cape School of Art in Massachusettes.

She has been a professional artist for 25years and counting and has been featured in 20 solo exhibitions and over 80 group exhibitions. Her work has been exhibited in prestigious venues like National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C, the Smithsonian Institution, the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and museums from Mexico City to Moscow. Her first solo exhibition, “Conscious Evolution: The World at One” toured internationally and received support of private and corporate sponsors – including Tom Hanks, AXA Space and Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz of Saudi Arabia. The artwork featured in the exhibition became a part of the permanent fine art collection of the Smithsonian Institution’s National Air and Space Museum.

Angela Manno uses a style called Plein air painting which requires patience, alacrity and concentration. This method has opened up an entirely new world and painting experience for her.

“My intention is always to do justice to these and other places of natural splendor and to convey the awe, exhilaration, peace and gratitude I feel when in the presence of so much beauty.” – Angela Manno

Angela Manno resides in New York City and maintains her seasonal studio in Columbia County, New York.
