Christine Hingston

Christine Hingston obtained her diploma in Fine Arts in 1974 from the Claremont College of Fine Arts, Western Australia. She worked as a Director, head designer and fabric selector of clothing business, Ochre Design – Australia, which she started in 1984. Ochre Design Australia grew to become a national selling label under her leadership. However, in 1998, Christine decided to close the business to pursue her passion as a full-time painter. Christine has held many solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Western Australia, Bali and the Art Apart Fair in Singapore. Her artworks are represented in private and corporate collections in Australia and overseas.
